You should show up to your first court date and ask for a public defender. Enter a plea of Not Guilty and tell the court how old you are. The court has the discretion to charge you as an adult, and if you are 17, they probably will.

Anyways, you can hire a lawyer and fight it and you'll probably win because their is no evidence, no marijuana, and no pipes.

depending on what state, this occured at it shouldn't be that big of a deal. you probably won't get a posession charge because you weren't in possession of anything.

If you haven't been convicted, you don't have to put it on a resume or application. That only applies to once you've been to court and sentenced. Innocent until proven guilty. Get a lawyer too, they help a lot. Good luck!
