But to put things perspective, I could have spent that money only for one lens, Sigma 150-500 HSM or Sigma 70-200 HSM. I still think this would benefit more as a whole. Indoors it works just fine with decent lighting, but you have to learn one of the most important lessons of wide angle filming is that wide angle lenses are mostly not for looking at *every possible thing* in front of the camera. A couple times we used the Tokina indoors and it has such a wide angle capability that crew personnel who should have been well out of the frame were blowing scenes because they were in frame, picking their nose / whatever. Wish we could have shot the entire film on it. You put it on and look at monitor and *holy hell* your screenplay may suck but the film is going to look great. Which lens to buy?? Please help me decide.?

I have a Pentax K10d with the kit lens 18-55. It is far too slow therefore causes lots of blur to the photos. I am trying to decide if I would be better to get the Pentax 50mm 1.4 or the Pentax 40mm f2.8 Da limited.

Well as Perki said, you need to adjust your shooting skills. Either you need to up the ISO a little on your camera or learn how to hold your camera to assure a good steady camera/lens combination when shooting in low light.

a slow lens does not add "blur" to your pictures !! A FAST lens, shot wide open, will add BLUR to your pictures !! You need a tripod or monopod; or like one person suggested, up the ISO so you can increase the shutter speed.
